Bureau of Fire Investigation, Education, and Code Enforcement

The Bureau of Fire Investigation, Education, and Code Enforcement is dedicated to the safety of everyone in the Village of Hebron and Union Township.  The bureau is led by Captain Ryan Wyse, who serves full time as the fire prevention officer for the Village of Hebron and the fire marshal for Union Township.  He is further assisted by other full time and part time firefighters who are also certified as fire safety inspectors.

Mission Statement

The Bureau of Fire Investigation, Education, and Code Enforcement's mission is to protect life and property from the threat of fire by preventing them from ever starting.  This is done through educating the public, enforcing safety codes, and the prosecution of arsonists.
